Paul Pierce, LeBron James, LeBron's Mom...

For those of you who missed it the first time around the Pierce/LeBron's mom interaction just strikes me as bizarre. And yes I missed 3/4 of the game because of work, caught the 4th quarter and then went to bed at midnight because I had work the next day as well. Somehow that didn't make it into Deadspin's recent take on my recap: Ed. Note: To be fair, that guy only watched the fourth quarter.

Anyways watch how quickly the announcers go from "there is no love lost, there is no love lost between Paul Pierce and LeBron James" to praising the King for his benevolence. They're not mortal enemies. They're just rivals. Other than that let's just enjoy this clip for what it is - pure entertainment.

Indeed

I get the point about possibly hurting a guy but it was not a bad foul. And there is some tension. No way around it. Pierce tries too hard. But you’re right.
