Just in

Nice steal Rondo, Monster Dunk by Garnett, I always fell better when Garnett is punching himself in the head.

I loved Dino Radja

G-D Todd Day ran him off.

It die lead to the epic Rajda quote

“I do not like this Todd Day.”

Scal traded in the jeans

That was one of the first thing that caught my eye during the first timeout. Turns out Tony Allen is hurt.

He tweaked his achilles

Article says it was during a round of 1-on-1 with Rondo, Pruitt, and Glen Davis. Immediately, without knowing any of the facts, I blamed Davis.

Rondo sucks, KG sucks, everyone is sucking in the 4th

this team is a frontrunner. They always played scared in the 4th, very reflective of their coach. The only player that even looks like he gives a damn is Perkins.

Gives a damn?

I’d say they care. But they do freeze up at times. The suspense is killing me. Still they’re a resilient team. It’s hard to make it this far as a front runner.

KG sucks?

33 points (11-17 from the field, 10-12 from the line), 7 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal. Yes he had 5 turnovers. But those 2 free throws at the end were clutch. I don’t know how we got to the point where we criticize Garnett for everything we think he should do better instead of recognizing everything he does so well. And yes some of those offensive possessions down the stretch were awful. But they found a way to win.

please use the reply button, and

i said that in relation with the 4th. Come on now. He needs to be more aggressive and shoot when he’s open in the 4th. That’s pretty obvious.

Reply button?

I feel a bit like Teddy KGB in Rounders when Matt Damon tells him not to splash the pot. I don’t think the reply button is that big a deal. Of course I’ve now made myself Teddy KGB, which is probably not a comparison I should be comfortable with. More importantly I’ve watched Kevin Garnett play close to 90 games this season. It’s his 13th season. He is what he is. He’s going to score a bunch of points, mostly on jumpers, rebound and play all out defensively. I wish he posted up more or demanded the ball every time the Celtics need a bucket. But last year I was fixated on the NBA draft. He’s led this team to the brink of the Finals. Also to address your comment title “Rondo sucks, KG sucks, everyone is sucking in the 4th” you should know that we’re completely irrational about Rondo around here. I’ve argued that he’ll be an All Star someday. And the reason Boston’s 4th quarter stands out is because the C’s played so well in the third. Maybe the indecision at the end of games will cost them a shot at the title or a title. I’m just happy they’re still playing ball.

cool

i understand. But, i’ve been watching this team, and it just seems they are very erratic in the 4th no matter what, always careless with the ball, and rondo doesn’t always make the right decision. I know he’s young, but turnovers piss me off beyond belief, and it’s so mind boggling when it’s simple a fundamentally simple part of the game: protect the ball. These behind the back passes, no look passes, traveling, all seem to happen to this team in the 4th more than other teams. Maybe i’m just seeing things that are not there, i dunno. I’m glad we’re up 3-2, that is for sure.

re:cool

You’re dead on about Rondo’s careless passes. They have been troublesome. In the regular season he was flashy at times but rarely in a detrimental way. Currently his play would drive Bob Cousy out of his mind, which is not good. And ultimately there is still a feeling that outside of a willingness of Pierce, Ray Allen, KG and oddly House to go to the line in the waning moments there does not seem to be anyone looking to consistently step up. Thanks for stopping by.
