Word on the street is that the C's signed Patrick O'Bryant of Golden State Warriors fame. When I got the news, via text message from reader Rondo, I immediately thought, "Isn't he a stiff?" Not a strong endorsement. For some reason I was also reminded of Danny Ainge's desire to get Robert Swift in the green and white. More on this tomorrow.

Considering they got him at 2 years for the league minimum (according to the Herald) I figure it’s a good deal. Worst case, he does nothing and it doesn’t hurt the team. They apparently still have the entire MLE.
